Cookies Raven uses

Session cookie: keeps you signed in and lets your account actions work. It is set when a session is needed and is configured to expire when you close your browser. CSRF cookie: protects forms and account actions from unauthorized submissions. These cookies support the service and its security; disabling them can prevent login, posting or account changes.

Local preference

If you turn on optional interface sounds, your browser stores that preference locally. It is not sent to Raven's server. You can switch sounds off or clear browser site data to remove the preference.

Optional tracking

Raven currently has no optional advertising or analytics cookies. Its basic traffic counts run on the server without an analytics cookie. Because the current cookies are used for login and security, there is no optional cookie category to accept or reject. If that changes, we will add a choice before setting optional cookies and update this page.
