Information you provide

We collect your account name, email and password hash when you register; profile details, business listings, images, links and public contacts that you choose to add; and reports, votes or messages you submit to Raven. Your account email and any separately marked private business contact email are not displayed as public listing contact details. Public listings, names and contacts you choose to publish can be seen and copied by visitors and search engines.

How we use it

We use account data to provide login, email verification, password recovery, listing management and security. We display your published business details to visitors and process reports to moderate the site. We use basic first-party traffic counts and daily pseudonymous fingerprints to estimate views and record listing link clicks. These counts can include imperfect estimates of visitors; they do not prove a person visited a destination or bought anything. We do not use advertising trackers or sell account data.

Technical data and retention

The server receives connection information such as IP address and browser user agent. Raven's application uses a daily keyed hash of this information for visitor estimates, rather than storing raw IP addresses in its analytics tables. Daily visitor fingerprints are removed after about seven days; aggregate traffic is retained for up to a year and listing insight data for about 90 days under the current cleanup process. Security and operational logs, backups, account records and user content can last longer. Deleted or removed listings may remain in backups and moderation records for a period. We do not promise instant deletion from third-party search caches.

Providers and external links

Raven Mall uses a hosting provider to run the site, DuckDNS for its address and Google Gmail to send account email. These providers may process data needed to provide those services. When you follow a listing's website, social, map or YouTube link, that external service can receive information directly from your browser and applies its own privacy terms. We do not load embedded YouTube players on listing pages.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and listings, choose which public contact details to show and remove a listing from public view. You can ask us for access, correction or deletion of your account data at ravenmall044@gmail.com. We may need to confirm account ownership and retain limited records where required for security or legal reasons. Requests may also be subject to rights under applicable law.

Cookies

Raven uses essential login and security cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains them. We do not currently place optional advertising or analytics cookies.
